When you come in for your initial consultation, you will meet with one of our doctors and team members. We’ll ask you to fill out some paperwork, review your dental and medical history and then you will have a complete oral exam, which will include photographs of your teeth and profile. The information we gather from that exam will help us decide on the best customized treatment for you. Be assured that you’ll be a part of the process every step of the way, and we are happy to answer all of your questions about orthodontic care and the financial considerations involved with that care.

Now, you’ll be scheduled for your first appointment, which will last about one hour. You’ll have your orthodontic appliance installed, as was discussed during your consultation visit, and give you instructions on how to take care of it.

You’ll be scheduled for future visits every four to eight weeks for checkups and adjustments. Our scheduling coordinators will ask what days and times are most convenient for you when making future appointments.

Continue to visit your family dentist twice a year, because they’ll continue to clean your teeth and provide you with regular dental care.
